An award-winning screenwriter, director and producer, Victoria has created, developed and/or sold projects to 20th Century Fox, Disney, Viacom, ABC, A&E, Discovery, The BBC, PBS, Channel Four (UK), Canal Plus (France), CCTV (China), and Spanish TV. Her work has been seen by more than 350 million people in more than 25 countries. Victoria has directed and/or produced for Oscar, Emmy and Tony winners, and the stars of ‘Orange Is The New Black’, 'Bosch,' ‘Law & Order SVU,’ ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Seinfeld.’
In April 2023, Victoria signed an option agreement with Eagleton Productions, Inc. for her original screenplay BEYOND THE VEIL. In this supernatural thriller, a meek secretary experiences a flashback to a mysterious past life in China that uncovers a kidnapping, launching her on an adventure to Hawaii filled with danger and self-discovery.
Eagleton plans to partner with Victoria and Canadian producer Zoran Dragelj to make VEIL a Chinese-Canadian co-production, with Victoria attached as director. Weaving together elements of Chinese immigration and Native Hawaiian history, as well as the ecological debate surrounding over-development and the decimation of indigenous culture, VEIL is set against the backdrops of fascinating China and gorgeous Hawaii and features an international cast.
Victoria's work was selected for a special exhibit by the Library of Congress, and is in the permanent collection of the Motion Picture Academy's Mary Pickford Center. Her awards include an Emmy nomination (Saying Kaddish, a TV movie for ABC) as well as a CINE Golden Eagle, a Humanitas Award, Chicago Silver Bear and a Chris Plaque for her film ‘The Amish: Not to Be Modern’. She produced the drama, ‘An Empty Bed’, a NY Times ‘Critic's Pick’, and her film noir ‘Room 32’, which premiered at the Arclight Hollywood, continues to win medals at festivals globally.
In 2017, Victoria co-wrote and directed the comedy TV pilot, Open House, featuring an international cast; she also won “Best Director” at the Noho Fringe Festival. The following year, she was recognized for her directing by Studio Daily, receiving an “Exceptional Woman in Production,” award in Hollywood. Two new films, Grey (as writer/director) and Secret in Provence (as co-writer/co-producer) followed in 2019. Throughout his career, Charlie has written, conceptualized and/or produced albums that have sold in excess of 50 million copies, including the biggest-selling soundtrack album of all time, “The Bodyguard.” (Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner).
He has produced and written songs for more than 30 films, including the Christina Aguilera/Cher vehicle, ‘Burlesque’; ‘Rocky IV’; ‘The Bodyguard’; ‘Bull Durham’; and ‘Ruthless People’, as well as many family-friendly films, including‘ Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs’; ‘Oliver And Company’; ‘Lizzie McGuire’; and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Charlie was producer and/or writer on five Grammy-winning recordings, including an Album of the Year award for ‘The Bodyguard’. Charlie was also nominated for two Golden Globes. Norman co-wrote the Broadway musical ‘Marilyn: An American Fable’, which opened at the Minskoff Theater in Times Square. His sci-fi musical, ‘It Came From Beyond’, premiered Off-B'way in NYC in April 2018 and his 1940s film noir musical ‘Wicked City Blues’ opened in NYC the following year. Both ran to great reviews, until COVID closed theatres. (Both are scheduled to re-open). During its LA run, ‘It Came From Beyond’ was directed by Jeff Calhoun of Broadway ‘Newsies’ fame, and garnered six LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Score.
Norman’s film scores include John Frankenheimer's ‘The Prophecy’; ‘The Howling’ sequel; ‘Jericho Mile’; and ‘The Return of Captain Invincible’, as well as music for television. Norman has worked with Victoria on several film and TV projects, most recently scoring her TV pilot, ‘Open House’. He also wrote the theme song for her award-winning play, ‘Sawed in Half'
Sal is a General Partner of the DOGS! Waiting to Be Loved, LLC. He brings 20 years' experience in fundraising success, including corporate sponsorships and legacy donations. During his tenure he steward over 200 sponsors including Carnival Cruise Lines, Florida Blue, JP Morgan, Publix Super Markets, Celebrity Cruises, Lennar Builders and WalMart. This fundraising was instrumental in the financial success of the organization and its programs. His efforts resulted in more than $21 million raised, helping 1.5 million kids in 893 schools during his tenure at an educational non-profit.
While in the private sector, Sal partnered with his brother and owned an award/trophy business; was the Managing Editor for the largest Hispanic publication company in the country; he also served for six years as a licensed Wall Street compliance officer, managing more than 60 brokers.
An English teacher graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Sal is bilingual (English/Spanish) and brings both the expertise and energy required to help DOGS! reach a worldwide audience.
Tierney Boorboor is a creative and logistical producer as well as a line producer. Tierney received the P.G.A. mark on two films, the thriller HIDEOUT (2021) and coming-of-age comedy GOODBYE, PETRUSHKA (2022) and is now a member of the Producers Guild of America.
She also executive produced the comedy pilot GETTING HER (2023) and finishing now is the teen/family comedy MAGNETOSPHERE, shot in Ontario in the Summer of 2024. She is also producing NY Times bestselling writer F. Paul Wilson’s adaptation of his novella, WARDENCLYFFE, a high concept sci-fi/action/horror.
Tierney grew up in Southern New Jersey where she attended Moorestown Friends School and then followed with architectural and civil engineering dual degrees at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
Rebeka Herron is a Mixed Raced Latina filmmaker, and alumna of Capilano University’s Motion Picture Program, Women in the Director’s Chair, and the Producers’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre. She is a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, ACTRA Toronto and the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA).
Rebeka started her career as a producer’s assistant at Brightlight Pictures in Vancouver learning how to develop, package and budget films for Hollywood (The Company You Keep, 50/50, Gunless). She then moved into the writing and post departments on documentary & lifestyle working with Lark Productions, Omni Entertainment and Good Humor. In 2015, she produced 360 VR productions for the Canucks, VR Wonders and BC Lions with Perspective Films. Rebeka worked for at Taqqut Productions where she was their Senior Line Producer and Production Supervisor on several children’s series and animated projects including the TIFF, Annecy, and CSA winner and also Oscar shortlist ANGAKUSAJAUJUQ: The Shaman’s Apprentice.
Throughout her career she has taken pieces from each company, project, and budget range to give her the knowledge to open her own company Rusty Halo Productions in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Recent projects include A Christmas Letter (Roku, Up TV, CBC Gem), Magnetosphere (in post), and animated children's series A Witch Named Agatha (Beacon TV).
An award-winning producer/director, Zoran’s films have reached audiences across Canada, the US, and around the globe. His latest, the feature Friends Like These, premiered in Los Angeles in 2019, earning accolades at festivals in Istanbul, Sao Paolo, Atlanta, and Miami. Now available on Amazon Prime, TubiTV, and YouTube, it features original music from Harlequin Gold, Jenny Banai, Daev, and The Little Coyote.
He served as Associate Producer on the action-drama Dark Harvest, starring Cheech Marin, James Hutson, Tygh Runyan, AC Peterson and Hugh Dillon. Distributed by Thunderbird Entertainment and The Movie Network (TMN), the film received nine top awards at international film festivals and is available on all major Video on Demand (VOD) platforms and broadcast on CraveTV.
For more than 20 years, Zoran has served on the Board of the International Press Academy (IPA), one of the most diverse associations of entertainment journalists and presenter of The Satellite Awards, which honors outstanding contributions in cinema, television, and interactive media. Actors and artists from Jennifer Hudson to George Clooney to James Cameron to Dakota Fanning have attended, with Zoran producing/directing many shows since its inception in 1996. The Satellite Awards have been broadcast on HBO Brazil, NHK (Japan), as well as on domestic outlets including E! Entertainment Network.
